FAQ
Before you call us.
Costs, timing, rights, The Great Italian, film distribution: answers to the questions we hear most often.
For brands
How much does a video project with Adrama cost?
Every project gets a tailored quote, built around goals, formats and budget. After a first 30-minute call we send a proposal and our rates within 48 hours, with the option of spreading the payment.
How long does it take to make a video?
It depends on the format. The Global Starter Pack is delivered within 10 working days of the shoot; a commercial or campaign takes a few weeks between writing, shooting and post-production; a documentary for The Great Italian takes a few months.
Do we need a creative idea already?
No. We start from your numbers and goals and build the creative idea together. You approve story, script and casting before we go on set.
Who handles production, actors and rights?
Adrama handles the whole production, from concept to final delivery, including casting, contracts, image releases and rights renewals with agencies, so your content stays usable with no surprises.
Do you shoot at our premises?
Yes. We bring a film crew to your offices, store, factory or region, and plan the day to get the most content out of it. We work from Milan, Turin and London, in Italy and abroad.
Do you work with agencies and marketing teams?
Yes. We work with agencies and marketing teams as a production company, or we follow the project from strategy to distribution when you need a single partner.
The Great Italian
What is The Great Italian?
A series of 30-minute cinematic stories, directed by Maurizio Gigola, about the people, companies and regions that define Italian excellence. It grew out of the documentary on Gualtiero Marchesi, which premiered in Cannes.
Who can be featured in an episode?
Companies of excellence, family businesses, towns and regions with a strong story to tell: a founding, a craft, a deep bond with the place they come from.
Where is an episode seen?
An episode lives in cinemas with its premiere, at festivals and markets, at the Italian Cultural Institutes and on the company's or region's channels, together with teasers, reels, behind-the-scenes and photos.
Film and distribution
Do you also distribute films by other producers?
Yes. Alongside the films we produce, on request we handle distribution for third-party projects: festival strategy, digital platforms and media partners.
Which platforms have your films reached?
Films produced or distributed by Adrama have reached platforms such as Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Hulu, Tubi and Roku, and TV on Sky and Rai, with partners including Hollywood Media Bridge, ITN Studios, CG Entertainment, Minerva Pictures and Insurgence.
Do you offer executive production in the United States?
Yes, with Gran Torino Productions in Austin, Texas, founded by our co-founder Federico Alotto. We also handle executive production in Italy.
What do you need to assess a film?
A screening link, a synopsis, the technical sheet and, if available, trailer and key art. After watching it we tell you frankly which festivals, platforms and partners make sense.
Working with Adrama
Do you work outside Italy?
Yes. We have offices in Turin, Milan, London and Austin and produce content in several languages: for Skin Labo, in seven.
